Best Change Ever!
Theresa Morley is a Southwestern Oklahoma State University alumna and lifelong advocate for public education in Oklahoma. As a consultant and school leader, she provides direct support to rural districts, helping schools strengthen instructional systems, improve special education compliance, and build sustainable capacity to serve every student well.
Through years of experience working alongside educators, Theresa has seen the extraordinary dedication of Oklahoma’s teachers and administrators — and the challenges they face when resources are stretched thin. Delayed evaluations, limited staff capacity, and competing priorities are not signs of neglect, but reflections of a system that asks educators to do more with less.
Her work is rooted in the belief that every child deserves access to timely, meaningful support — and that decisions about student services should always be guided by data, professional integrity, and compassion, never by convenience or cost.
From her early teaching experience to her current leadership in rural school consulting, Theresa remains committed to helping districts design programs that reflect both excellence and empathy. Guided by the same resilience and service that define the Bulldog spirit of SWOSU, she continues to champion Oklahoma’s educators and the communities they serve.
Every part of the Arrow Educational Consulting logo reflects a piece of Theresa’s journey and purpose.
The foil stars represent the same stars she once used to chart her progress toward reading 100 books in Mrs. People’s third-grade classroom — a symbol of persistence, growth, and the joy of learning.
The wooden letters stand for hard work, resilience, and the hands-on nature of teaching and leadership.
And the arrow itself embodies direction — the forward motion of schools and educators working together toward success.
Together, these elements tell a simple truth: progress happens when we know where we’re going and keep moving forward.
Theresa Morley founded Arrow Educational Consulting, LLC with a simple belief — that every school, no matter its size or location, deserves access to the tools, data, and expertise needed to help students thrive.
With 25 years as an educator and nearly a decade of experience in Oklahoma’s charter school system, Theresa has seen firsthand how hard educators work — and how often they’re asked to do more with less. That understanding fuels her passion for helping schools find efficient, sustainable, and human-centered solutions.
Theresa believes progress begins with understanding. She listens deeply, helps teams find their footing, and builds plans that make a real difference for staff and students alike. Through Arrow, she leads with compassion, strategy, and an unwavering belief in what’s possible.
The simpler Arrow logo represents the heart of growth and renewal. Its design is rooted in balance — between strength and grace, progress and reflection.
The feathers at the top symbolize new growth and change. Just as birds shed old feathers to make way for new ones, educators and organizations evolve — always learning, always becoming.
The two larger feathers stand for truth, wisdom, and respect for tradition — values that steady every journey. After all, arrows don’t reach their destination without feathers to guide their flight.
Together, these elements reflect Arrow’s belief in purposeful growth, steady direction, and the courage to change while honoring what endures.
This logo was inspired by Theresa’s late father, affectionately known as “Moot.” He spent his life hustling to make things work — “I can’t” simply wasn’t in his vocabulary. When he couldn’t afford to hire it out, he figured it out.
During one special semester, Theresa and her father commuted together — she was completing coursework for a certification area, and he had decided to pursue his bachelor’s degree in his forties. Those long car rides were filled with conversation, reflection, and laughter — memories she cherishes to this day.
Moot loved poetry and passed on to Theresa the gift of words, which continues to shape her work and her voice through Arrow Educational Consulting.
The burr oak tree represents her family — and the families she serves through her work. The two feathers point to the roots, where it all began — quite literally. Her father’s last name, Root, is a reminder that everything strong grows from deep foundations.
This emblem isn’t just a logo; it’s a tribute to legacy, learning, and the steady guidance that carries us forward.
